Tryout Information

Tryouts comprise of a subset of players from each league to attend a session to go through drills and allow coaches to evaluate them. For the Novice and Prep League, these coach evaluations will be used to evenly distribute talent to ensure that there is greater parity.  For the older leagues, the coaches' evaluations will be used for coaches to draft their players.  Please note, tryouts are mandatory.  Every player must tryout.  If your child does not attend tryouts they will not be able to be assigned to a team and they will promptly be moved to the waiting list. If your child is not able to attend the assigned tryout dates, please notify the league of your planned absence. If your child signs up after tryouts are over, you will be given further instructions on how you can have your child evaluated by a coach so that they can be assigned to a team.

On the actual tryout day, when players arrive, they will first get in line to get their "number" for the tryout. [Coaches will identify players by a orange 4" adhesive circle attached to the outside upper arm or on the left front & right rear of shorts] In addition, players will be split up into two groups so that one group is going through tryouts and the other group is getting sized for their jerseys for the season.

All session lengths are approximate...please be patient.  Players who show up at a different tryout without previously coordinating changes, may be asked to return at his/her scheduled tryout.

For specific information on your child's tryout date, an email will be sent to you informing you of the specific time and location of the tryout.
