Recreational Program Information
Mission Statement:
The Recreational Program season is a 12 to 16 week program, with approximately 8 to 12 scheduled games. The recreational program is designed to provide local players an opportunity to play basketball in a safe, competitive environment. Players of all skills and experience levels are invited to participate with our recreational program. We have a minimum playing requirement rule for coaches to follow to ensure every player gets an opportunity to play.
Background:
At this level, boys and girls are separated. We offer our Prep (4th/5th Graders), Middle (6th/7th Graders), Freshmen (8th/9th Graders), and High School (10th -12th Graders) for Boys. We offer Prep (4th/5th Graders), Middle (6th - 8th Graders), and High School (9th -12th Graders) for Girls. Each of these age groups have a regular season as well as the playoffs.

- Registration:
- Prep/Middle Girls, Middle Boys, Freshmen Boys (8th Graders Only) - September 1st
- Freshmen Boys, High School Boys, High School Girls - October 1st
- Cost: $195 ($225 for late registrants)
How it Works:
Court and ball
- The game will be played on a full court at a local Middle School
- The game ball will be size 28.5 for Prep Boys/Girls, Middle Girls and High School Girls. The game ball will be size 29.5 for Middle Boys, Freshmen Boys and High School Boys.
The Teams
- Each team will be assigned 8 to 9 players
- Administrators will build the Prep Level, and Middle Girls teams. The remaining age groups will have coaches draft their own teams.
The Officials
- We contract out to external organizations to officiate our games.
Time and Scoring
- Prep, Middle and Freshmen Levels play 6-minute quarters, with 3-minute substitution rules
- High School Boys and Girls play with 7 minute quarters
